Abiqua is one of the stoutest drops in the kayaking world, for it’s solid height and sometimes funky lip. It has only been run a handful of times and the lines have sometimes been hit or miss. There is not much room for error at that height on the kind of lip Abiqua has. But that is why the boys and I spent a week getting our mojo back on some smaller stouts before finishing off the week with this unreal drop. It is a beast of a drop, but is one of my favorite drops of all time, and I was so stoked to run it with the boys for my 2nd lap, and to have us all walk away safe and happy.
